“I often say that it is worth asking ourselves a straightforward question: How resilient are our physical intrusion detection systems? That’s where Innovery comes in. We demonstrate to the customer whether—and, if so, how—we can access premises by bypassing all the infrastructure and physical controls they have.”

What we discuss with Antonio Fiorito

Founded in 2001, Innovery is one of the few Italian companies specializing in corporate infiltration. The company has created a division focused on Offensive Security to fight an aggressive approach by cyber criminals and cope with advanced attacks. It tests companies’ perimeter and application defences from two perspectives: cyber and physical security.

Everything is done through corporate spying activities, from perimeter reconnaissance or employee tailing to penetration through badge cloning and tampering with security systems. They aim to expose the vulnerabilities of banks, industries, and insurance companies and stay ahead of cybercriminals.

Antonio Fiorito and I talk about how to test a company’s cyber and physical security through espionage and James Bond-like tools. Innovery employs a hybrid data-driven approach that relies on automated scans and manual verification. Then we discuss ethical hacking, zero-day vulnerability, and good values.

As always, our guest gives three actionable insights to our audience on preparing for future technological opportunities.
